Didn't get much writing done the last couple of days. Our weekend dance card was pretty full.
A woman Gina used to work with celebrated her 40th anniversary with a big party at a hotel. It was catered and, they had a band and a mentalist as entertainment. It was quite the shindig. We bought some new clothes and got dressed up for that.
Then today, we went to the wedding of one of Gina's coworkers. It was nice. Dressed in new clothes for that, too. And, may I say, my wife cleans up very, very well.
Sounds like y'all had a nice time...what did the mentalist do?
ReplyDeleteI honestly couldn't tell you. Our seats were to the side of the stage and a long way off. We just kept ourselves entertained.
