A little research help

Working on the end of a story and I am looking for a little help with a detail. If you were to place a bottle of vodka on a table for someone, let's say at a bar, would you chill it? Like in a bucket of ice? Not being a big drinker I don't know how the waitstaff would handle that. Any help is appreciated.

  2. That anonymous person probably took a picture of their oldest daughter when she was just a young thing with a troll doll in one hand and a bottle of whiskey in the other. Just saying... I'd have to check with my waitstaff friends on the real answer to your question.

  3. You just described getting bottle service at a bar/club. It's pretty common in the fancier bars and lounges these days. The vodka, or any other liquor would be chilled in a bucket of ice and would be served to a group at a table. It would also come with mixers like, Sprite, orange juice, etc. Anything you would mix it with to cut the harshness of the straight vodka. Hope that helps.

  4. Thanks, my brother. I knew it was bottle service but didn't know how it was handled. I may leave out the mixers part and just have them leave his a bowl of limes since that's what he's drinking, vodka with lime.
